Review of Transcendence by Shay Savage

A friend of mine on Goodreads suggested this book to me. I haven't read anything of Shay Savage before. But, as I read the blurb, I was intrigued. A real caveman? Bring it on! But what I got was not at all what I had expected. And in a total good way. Transcendence wasn't like anything I've read before. It cannot be classified as Historical as that will be pushing it. It could be said time travel, though it isn't a huge part of the story. But, we can definitely say it's a romance. It is one the most sweet romance I've ever read.

Review of At the Duke's Pleasure by Tracy Anne Warren

After finishing the second book in the series it's now time for His Grace, Duke  of Clybourne! Since the first book I have found Edward intriguing. And after reading the blurb I wanted to know more about Claire and Edward. I'm so glad I did, because I enjoyed this book. The shadows under my eyes will testify for that!

Beyond Scandal and Desire - Lorraine Heath

I loved the blurb of this book so much that I counted the days until it's release. And it doesn't hurt that the books author is Lorraine Heath. I had some preconceived notions before I started reading. Many were proven wrong in a good way. It has a refreshing take on a concept that is used regularly in historical romance.

Review of The Winter Duchess by Jillian Eaton

I came across this indie book in the most unusual way, But I'm really thankful I did. The Winter Duchess is a sweet love story of a Duke trying hard to freeze his heart and a Maiden who unknowingly thaws it.
I loved the writing and am sad that this book isn't as appreciated as it deserves.

I have wanting to read this books since I picked up Neanderthal Seeks Human by Penny Reid. I just adore that woman. She writes fantastic books!

I know I promised this would be a seven part review, but can you really blame me for getting carried away? I mean it's Quinn and Jaine after all. ;)
